Ducati Factory MX Team Competes for the First Time in Latvia at the MXGP of Ķegums

Last weekend, from June 7 to 9, the MXGP World Motocross Championship round took place at the Zelta Zirgs track in Ķegums, Latvia. For the first time ever in Latvia, the event featured the participation of the Aruba.it – Ducati Factory MX Team from Italy.

The team lineup included experienced Swiss rider Jeremy Seewer and talented Italian Mattia Guadagnini, both competing on the new Ducati Desmo450 MX motorcycle. The event attracted a large crowd of spectators, creating an excellent atmosphere and strong support for all riders.

In the first race, Guadagnini delivered a solid performance, finishing 14th, while Seewer faced technical issues and ended up in 16th place. In the second race, Guadagnini improved his result, finishing 12th, whereas Seewer, despite a good start, suffered a crash that prevented him from achieving a higher position, ultimately finishing 18th.

In the overall standings, Guadagnini earned 16 points and Seewer 8 points, allowing both riders to remain within the top ten of the championship standings. This round marks an important step in Ducati’s continued development and ambition to achieve stronger results in the future.

The team management and riders confirmed that they will continue to refine the motorcycle and work on improving their performance in upcoming rounds. The Ducati Factory MX Team remains fully committed to fighting for podium positions and strengthening its place in the MXGP Championship.
